ABOUT NARMA42

We believe that there is an underlying, hidden question behind a client’s problem. Looking at the problem from our various scientific disciplines shows the underlying question from a wider perspective. It provides a resonance towards the solution.

Data analysis is a method for investigation the client's question. We use the best tools we know of : Wolfram Mathematica as our problem solving engine, SmartSheet and MongoDB for communication and storage, and Java, Python, SQL, or SAP when needed.

Our product is a report with new insights. Insights are taken to the decision-makers so that they can navigate the company. Software is a side product. Software needs to be written and may be very useful in the future. But the software is not the goal. Insight is the goal.

NARMA stands for the shortening of “Natura ARtis MagistrA” (“Nature is the teacher of Arts and Science”)

42 is the “Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything”, from Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
